Administration Overview
Administration serves as the central command unit of the Paranormal Research Collective and its subsidiaries (New Horizon Paranormal and Astral Apparatus). Overseen by Franklin and Alec, the Administrative Division manages high-level operations for both investigation teams and equipment development. Administrative work may be performed in-office or remotely, depending on the role and assignment. The following positions form the core of the Administrative Department:
Public Relations & Outreach (Remote or In Office)
Responsible for all external communication. Handles incoming calls and messages, screens cases for legitimacy and severity, assigns priority levels, and prepares preliminary case packets for the Director’s review. Maintains ongoing communication with clients and property owners, manages social media, writes public-facing reports, and oversees relationships with local businesses and community partners.
Records Keeper (In Office)
Maintains all physical and digital archives for the organization. Files completed cases, organizes IPOs, investigation reports, photographs, audio/video logs, and ensures proper cataloging of evidence—including physical items or potentially anomalous artifacts. Controls access to restricted or classified files and ensures all documentation adheres to organizational standards.
County Team Overview
The investigation teams function as the field-operations arm of the organization, tasked with documenting and validating potential paranormal activity at locations approved by Administration. Each team conducts up to four investigations per month, coordinating dates that align with member availability and operational needs. Investigators deploy equipment issued by the organization to record, measure, and analyze any unexplained phenomena encountered on-site. Their purpose is to gather credible, high-quality evidence to support case evaluations and further the mission of the Paranormal Research Collective.
County Team Lead
An Investigator is the core operational member of the Paranormal Division, responsible for gathering evidence and supporting the team throughout each investigation. While the Team Lead handles scheduling and location selection, an Investigator’s primary duties are providing availability, attending the investigation, and using the equipment provided to help make contact and document activity. After receiving a full briefing on the site’s history and eyewitness accounts, Investigators assist with unpacking gear, establishing basecamp, preparing cameras, rotating basecamp duty, taking notes, relaying information, and packing up at the end of the night. Elite Investigators follow the authority of the Elite Team Lead and Assistant Lead, and although location scouting is not required, they are encouraged to contribute potential sites and familiarize themselves with upcoming locations. Investigators may also serve as Specialists—optional roles that reflect individual skills or interests—such as Exorcist, Researcher, Tech/Engineer, Analyst, Demonologist, Angelologist, Parapsychologist, Scientist, Psychologist, or Medic.

County Team Lead
A Team Lead is responsible for scheduling and planning all investigations. They must coordinate dates that work for at least three investigators and lead the team’s actions throughout the night. If the Lead cannot attend, the Assistant Team Lead steps in, and vice versa. After each investigation, they oversee teardown, make the call to retreat if necessary (subject to majority override), and complete the mandatory investigation report by the next night — otherwise the Assistant Team Lead must do so. The Lead also hires new members, conducts interviews, assigns training, and integrates recruits into the team.
County Assistant Team Lead
The County Assistant Team Lead supports the Team Lead in scheduling, planning, and executing investigations, and assumes full leadership whenever the Team Lead is absent or requests assistance. When acting as lead, the Assistant must coordinate dates with investigators. During investigations, they accompany the team opposite the Team Lead or take command if the Team Lead is not present, guiding operations and assisting with decisions— including advising on retreat if conditions worsen, subject to majority override. Afterward, they help oversee teardown and ensure an investigation report is completed by the next night if the Team Lead is unable to do so. While recruitment is primarily the Team Lead’s duty, the Assistant Team Lead participates in interviews to provide a second opinion on new members.
